Remember as we are authors ourselves we only try to share the costs of the stand and the other associated cost of the book fair. We actually do all the appointments at no charge to the author. The way we look at it, is we are already there so why not help others at the same time. We have found that face to face is the best, even in the age of instant emails and messaging.
How it works at international book fairs.
Companies know what they are looking for when they go there. Companies in the book industry work up to 18 months in advance. They go to the fair sourcing books that fit their business models for the future. If a company finds something that fits their model they mark the book as a potential candidate. They then take the information back to their headquarters and their editors do more investigation and it moves on from there. It is not instantaneous results, it can take time, there is a process to be followed.

Bronze Package: What you get.
- Your book is displayed on The Australian Self publishing group stand and shown to interested people.
- Your front book cover is placed in our catalogue and handed out to the industry at the fair.
- Written spiel about your book in catalogue.
- Your book will be pointed out to all interested parties in your genre’.
- You will be sent all contact information from interested parties, so you can negotiate.
- Your book will be offered to a distributor or Agent.
- With the Bronze package your book is taken to the FBF. Information on how to do this will be sent to you. Cost for this package is only $260 per title.

Silver Package: What you get
- Your book is displayed on The Australian Self publishing group stand and shown to interested people.
- Your book front cover with back cover information is placed in our catalog and handed out to the industry at the fair.
- We negotiate on your behalf at the fair personally with publishers and agents who are interested in your book.
- Your book will be given to a distributor’s for consideration.
- We will handout your business cards to the industry at the fair.
- Your cards are placed on the main stand table in easy reach.
- Your books will be listed on the Australian Self Publishing Groups website for greater exposure.
- You will be sent all contact information to you from interested parties
With the Silver package your book is taken to the FBF. Information on how to do this will be sent to you. Cost for this package is only $395 per title.

Gold Package: What you get.
- Your book is displayed on The Australian Self Publishing Group stand up to 3 books per author.
- Your book front cover with back cover information is placed in our catalog and handed out to the industry at the fair. Extra space is allocated for a spiel on your book.
- Your book will be prioritized in our catalogue.
- We personally make appointments with the publishers, agents and distributors to show them your book.
- Your books will be presented to a UK, USA and Canadian distributors who can get your book listed on Amazon.com and distributed to book stores in the UK, USA and Canada. We will negotiate a deal for you.
- Your book will be presented to Foreign language scouts, literary agents and publishers, to be translated into non English languages.
- You are allocated space for a personal flyer and we will handout your flyers to interested parties and explain about your book.
- We will handout your business cards to the industry at the fair.
- You get your flyers and cards displayed on the main stand table, so interested people can get them easily.
- You are welcome to join us at the book fair.
- You get an authors entry badge to the fair Free. (limited number available).
- We carry your books personally with us to the book fair.
- You will be sent all contact information to you from interested parties, and we will advise you on contract details for any offers that are made to you.
- Your books will be listed on the Australian Self Publishing Groups website for greater exposure.
- Your book will be listed with an International library supplier for massive exposure.
With the Gold package we carry your books to the Frankfurt book fair in our personal luggage free of charge.
Cost for this package is only $550 1 title per author displayed. Each extra book will be $200, this basically helps us cover the costs of getting the books to Frankfurt, as we take all books with us personally and have to get excess baggage on the plane.
No one can guarantee all books will get positive results, but I can guarantee that the exposure of any book is massive and will give it the best chance of being spotted.
Don’t forget with the Gold Package your book is allocated the most time when we are promoting it to publishers, agents and distributors.
