Freewill is seen by some as a human being’s greatest asset. People make choices from the top-level government to business leaders and right down to liberated teens and even toddlers. The power to choose can turn a person’s or nation’s destiny. At the macro-level the individual has little chance of altering a course of events as power is vested in a higher authority. Under an orderly system, people have no choice but to accept all non-controllable factors. It’s been like this since the beginning of time and the human race has thrived.
The Biblical view places a very different slant on self-will. It’s contradicts the worldly norm. At the micro-level, Christians need to meet their secular obligations which can be quite stressful. However, the priority is in the perpetuity where God holds all the keys. There are obligations attached but we hardly stress over them in the slightest. If so, there is a great deal that has been missed somewhere along the line. This book seeks to explore some of those vital gaps. However, the couvert treasures can only be understood and received by unveiled hearts.
