Fairytale Bones

Fairytale Bones and more of Michelles Musings, is the second collection of poetry from Michelle Schaper, featuring a repository of ‘Facebook favourites’, as Michelle’s social media followers have often expressed
interest for a follow up to ‘Soul Kissing, a collection of playful poetry and prose.’

Michelle uses an assortment of iambic verse, simple metaphors, similes and non rhyming poems to take readers on
a journey to the beauty inside us all, with a glimpse of fairytale notions.

Although Michelle frequents writing of a third person, ‘She’, her poetic expressions are aimed to inspire all
to see the art in human strength and resilience.

“Some of the most beautiful people I know struggle daily with illness, mental health issues, grief, debilitating disease and heartbreak. These thoughts from my heart are for all warriors who find their strength to cope with life and still manage to empower others along their way. I wish for my words to be a blanket of hope to provide comfort while offering a hint of romance and mischief at the same time.”
