Research has shown children are more likely to eat healthy if characters are involved and so Catherine decided due to the popularity of her characters that she would write stories relating to their personalities. Each character would have thier own engaging story for children to relate to.
The focus has been purposefully shifted from traditional, dietry advice to a new concept involving the characterization of fruit and vegetables in a friendly and entertaining way to ensure the interest of young children.
